How did you get into the pinstriping and hand-lettering signage world and how many years have you been at it?
My interests all stems from going to car shows, as a kid. Racing motorcycles was another influential part of my life. For 17 years, I have been traveling to car, motorcycle and gallery shows. pinstriping for clients has been a major part of that.
Where do you find inspiration for your work?
Inspiration is EVERYWHERE. Past. Present. Future. One just needs to be receptive to their surroundings.
Can you give us an insight into your experience being a part of the Pinstripe and Signpainting community?
In high school I had thoughts of pursuing architecture and engineering. A college professor redirected those thoughts toward my life long interest in the arts. A pinstriping brush has given me opportunities and worldwide travels that I never would have dreamed of.
What are your favorite pieces to create and how long does it take?
Illustrative sign cutouts are some of my favorite projects. Every piece differs in creation times. Deadlines are necessary.
For anyone interested in hand-lettering and pinstripe art, do you offer workshops?
I currently do not offer any sort of workshops. But, there are talks of future possibilities.
