MEDIUMS
My favorite mediums are: acrylic and oil paint, ceramics, metal, fabric, wood, found objects, color pencils and chalk pastels. As far as an art style, I had to ask some of my artist friends to get an outside perspective. The consensus is part Pop-Fauvism, part Pop-Surrealism.
FUN FACT
I homesteaded on two and a half acres of Zingiber Zerumbet (shampoo ginger) in Kahaluu, Hawai‘i without running water or electricity with another friend. We lived and built on the land and upcycled used materials we found at a post-construction site.
WHY FIRST FRIDAY?
First Fridays in Lake Havasu City provide an uplifting and engaging opportunity for the whole community. I enjoy connecting with the other creatives, supporting their arts and crafts, as well as the tasty food vendors. First Friday is a tradition held in many other cities, but this one in Lake Havasu offers a fresh and vibrant twist. I absolutely adore the lively modern atmosphere and all the brilliant and creative people that work to make Lake Havasu City’s First Friday truly special.
