Dominic, how did you get into DJing?

I first became a DJ after about a year of going to raves and festivals. I loved being in the crowd and feeling the energy from the DJ, making thousands of people dance in unison. I wanted to have that same power; to make people dance.

What is the local music scene like?

The local dance music scene is nearly nonexistent, which is the exact reason Quake Collective was founded.

Do you have any favorite DJs or artists right now?

There are SO many artists that inspire me in different ways but the few who have truly inspired me are Excision, GRiZ and Zed’s Dead. These 3 in particular have done so much for up-and-coming artists (of all types), their own communities, and the rave community as a whole.

Where can people experience your music?

As of now, I’m poolside at the Nautical Beachfront Resort’s Beach Club & Wet Pool. Expect to hear a sprinkling of bass heavy bangers over a wide variety of music that everyone enjoys. Follow @quakecollective for upcoming shows!

Fav Downtown Havasu gem?

My favorite downtown gem is without a doubt, hands down the Creative Comrades/First Friday group. They all do so much for the small businesses and artists alike. They have given me so much opportunity to grow as an artist. I can’t thank this group enough for what you have done for me since DAY 1!
