How did you journey into the artist you are today?

I need to create, it’s my “art therapy “. I began beading necklaces, then I took classes on Lampwork beads. I made my own beads from glass.

Next I wanted to learn to become a Silver Smith. I continued taking more classes, wire wrapping, etching metal and Chasing & Repousse.

As an artist I continue to evolve with my various techniques and ideas.

What’s your go-to material?

I enjoy working in sterling silver but my go-to is copper. Copper sheet & copper wire.

I feel copper shows more expression. Every piece of jewelry becomes a small piece of art.

What inspires your work?

Nature inspires my pieces. My work is very organic and freestyle.

Any new techniques you've been trying recently?

I use a technique called Chasing & Repousse. It’s an old metal technique used in armor, swords and vessels. I can make my metal 2 dimensional which lifts the art from being flat.

I also started incorporating more crystals into my pieces, which brings more positive energy to the individual wearing my jewelry.

What would you say is your "signature"?

My signature is combining various Metalsmith techniques and wire wrapping

What can we expect to find at your pop up in YardCity?

Energized one-of-a-kind pieces of art
