What is your art form?
My art form has no easy definition; I carve tree portraits and landscapes into repurpuposed skateboard decks I also bond rocks and wood together to create sculptures.
How did you get into this craft?
I got my start when my fence blew down one stormy night and I began creating art with the fence boards... My son suggested I try sculpting skateboards because their layering provides opportunity for contrast. I began bonding rocks into art because I needed more affordable options for my art.
What is something new you are working on?
My newest creations are small rocks bonded into flower forms.
What is your favorite part of First Friday?
My favorite part of First Friday is talking with people who connect with my art.
What can FF goer's expect to see at your Featured Artist booth?
At my featured Artist booth; you can expect to see completely unique, original, never to be seen again sculptures and combinations of wood and rock.
