Greg, what is your motivation to sling pizza with purpose?

Feeding and nourishing those less than fortunate and those who are food insecure fuels my motivation. My purpose is to find ways to make this happen. Learn about food insecurity statistics here.

How did your passion for food evolve into giving back to those in need?

As a lifelong food industry veteran and with pizza being the topmost liked food in the world, it became the clear path to give back one slice at a time!

You’re an advocate for awareness of food insecurity. What kind of projects have you been a part of helping those in need?

In the United States alone, food waste is 30-40 percent of the overall food supply. I’m always looking for ways to help connect the dots of those who have with those who need. I’ve been very fortunate to be involved with many food recovery programs ultimately providing millions of meals per year to those in need.

How can others help the mission of nourishing those in need?

Others can help by simply asking how they can help? There is no cookie cutter solution for solving this problem. My goal is to be a resource and hopefully help guide others be a part of the solution.

Today, there are an estimated 17 million children struggling with hunger in America – 6 million more than before the pandemic. On any day, one slice is better than no slice!
