Nicole, how did you get into events and designing balloon sculptures?
I started doing balloons for my kids birthdays and holidays when the lockdowns first began. We would always take them out for their birthdays and with nothing open, I found a way to make it special for them and our friends when we celebrated. It slowly started to expand when friends and family asked me to start decorating for them too.
What's your favorite part about designing sculptures?
My favorite part of designing the balloons is the reaction from my clients when it’s all done. Taking an average space, basic decorations, and really making it something over the top and special.
Where do you find inspiration?
My inspo comes in all shapes and sizes. A lot of my clients have a theme or color scheme they are going for. I take those preferences and find a way to utilize the space in the best way.
What's your dream project/client?
My dream client is someone who gives me a few colors they want and then full creative freedom to match the balloons to the event. I feel like I get the best results that way.
Favorite Downtown Havasu gem?
This is a hard one!! I love coffee and food. So Wild Coffee hands down is my favorite for coffee, they are consistent and my go to. My favorite for food downtown is Chao Praya! It’s the best Thai food and is always fresh.
