New business alert! Glitch opened its doors on January 11, 2022!
How did the idea of Glitch come about?
Glitch was a long term idea of Kevin Wright. He grew up in the St Louis area visiting many arcades and eventually befriended owners of pinball/arcade bars in his hometown. Since then he had long dreamed of creating his own unique Arcade Bar.
After moving to Havasu, and befriending Corey, they decided to put this dream in motion. Corey grew up in Cincinnati where two generations of his family ran a local bar and tavern that always featured a couple of arcades and pinball machines. So this idea stoked great childhood memories. After tossing the idea around for a little more than a year, they met Jason and Justin. Off the cuff, during casual chit chat, Justin mentioned to Corey that he and his twin brother, Jason, were thinking of opening an arcade bar. And when Justin mentioned to Corey the building they were considering, Corey quickly realized that they were hot on the same location, with the same idea! What are the chances?! So Corey spilled the beans in regards to plans he and Kevin had. Next thing you know they all had a meeting at College Street Brewery to brainstorm, and the next day an LLC was in the works! Just 90 days later they unveiled the Glitch Barcadium!
