This summer, First Friday is bringing you a new project to help pass the time before next season starts (on September 3rd!). In a very special partnership with The KAWS, Pam Reinke Studio, Happy Puppy, LH Museum of History and Tek Wrap, we present the Mini Coloring Book Project.
Inspired by other mini book projects from Kyllan Maney and Jayarr Steiner, the series features 16 pages of black and white illustrations created by local artists. Each series has a limited run of 2,000 and can be found in a colorful box mounted outside of our four partner locations The KAWS, Pam Reinke Studio, Happy Puppy Inc, and LH Museum of History.
Issue #1 / Series: Summer 2021 (launching in July 2021) features 12 Youth Artists from Pam Reinke Studio, The KAWS and Ms. Upton’s Art Students. New Issues with new themes and artists will be released seasonally.
